THE INTERVIEWEE WHO HATED ME

6 years ago a guy looked at me face to face, and boldly told me; "I don't like you!" I immediately fired a response, I asked him that day; "Thank you for the honest feedback, but those that you like, how has it made their life better? How does your liking people pay their bills or take a bank loan? My brother keep your like, I need God's like And that's what guarantees my future. Today I joined a CEO friend of mine in an interview Panel to recruit some new staff, it was a long session, as we returned from a coffee break to continue the hectic interview session, here was this same guy walked in with his grey jacket and CV coming for the interview. Our eyes kissed by fluke, we immediately recognised each other; "the world is indeed spherical", I soliloquized. He felt very uncomfortable through out the interview, one could clearly see the volcanic eruption ongoing in his whole nervous system, he even mistook his date of birth for his last date of empl...

Unless you are really close with someone, do not expect them to hire a car for you ndio upige lap nayo. Hata kama unajilipia. Most of you end up binge drinking and fucking up cars mnaacha watu wakisumbuka. 4. Most Coasterians like Nairobians have schedules. Biryani is mostly a Friday dish after a long week and Friday prayers. Usianze kupiga simu Monday saa tatu asubuhi ati, 'Nipeleke nikakule biryani.' No please. 6. Ugali...

My Pastor

Oh Man ...I started using that to counter OMG..back to it..Oh man, today the service was awesome!! I'm here blogging about it instead of warming my food....this is now self control. :) I love food but am telling my body to wait and type this before I forget. Man, today I didn't notice time counting down to the words of benediction..I just heard the pastor saying, let's pray. We were taught about the Holy Spirit, read few verses, can't remember the exacts, but they touched on the day of Pentecost, Ananias and Sapphira and more..the spirit is real people. The spirit is third in the trinity. God the Father God the Son God the Holy Spirit   He emphasized on us being filled of Him. I remember a friend of mine so happy the day she spoke in tongues after the Spirit's manifestation. Trust me, it's cool. I have personal challenges, I try to do all God wants, all the Bible says. I don't achieve it always. Sometimes I do. I really hope the Spirit ain't g...

Google Alphabet??

Ahem..Don know how I read stuff online but this might be interesting, cause probably I had this right. I stumbled on google's blog today, I'll be patriotic enough to share a .co.ke one :) , and I read quite nice stuff... G is for Google   That was, and is, the title. I read further...  "... Our company is operating well today, but we think we can make it cleaner and more accountable. So we are creating a new company, called  Alphabet  ( http://abc.xyz) . I am really excited to be running Alphabet as CEO with help from my capable partner, Sergey, as President... " The blog read in part...the writer being the first person in this case.. Larry Page, CEO Google. I then clicked  Alphabet have a look at the site (https://abc.xyz) I loved it, I love it.  Simple, clean, nice font, not clattered...definitely clean stuff, a caliber fitting what I develop.  Mhh..Back to the point. The blog further said that "Alphabet is mostly a collection ...

God is Amazing

wow. wow. wow. God is Amazing. I believe in everyone having different phases and seasons they go through in life for growth purposes. Trees also shade their flowers and leaves at a certain time of the year. There's a tree in my estate that wilts yellow flowers mid-year and all its leaves drop too. It's a season as this where you will look at the tree and feel it's no longer beautiful and appealing. Same to us...we go through a phase of having to shed off some old habits and norms that weren't bad necessarily but simply because they can't carry us on to the next level we are going. Our capacity is increasing and therefore we need to let go of some stuff and move with the level we are experiencing. This is a phase we should embrace because something beautiful is coming out from within us. Don't choke that beauty by the reluctancy of not wanting to adjust yourself with the flow. Flow with the change as long as its something God has ushered you into and be res...
