6 years ago a guy looked at me face to face, and boldly told me; "I don't like you!" I immediately fired a response, I asked him that day; "Thank you for the honest feedback, but those that you like, how has it made their life better? How does your liking people pay their bills or take a bank loan? My brother keep your like, I need God's like And that's what guarantees my future. Today I joined a CEO friend of mine in an interview Panel to recruit some new staff, it was a long session, as we returned from a coffee break to continue the hectic interview session, here was this same guy walked in with his grey jacket and CV coming for the interview. If you read this back in March this year, it ain't news. Oh, by the way, google code is more of a developers space, where you can write and store /host your project.
Google code offers services similar to what Git-hub offers. Now get it? Hope so. Really.
Apologies if I can't explain this better. All I mean is, It's simply a great service from google, later under Alphabet(read more).
From this blog, it started back in 2006.
Now this good google service will be closed as from January 25th next year(2016)
As we speak, new projects can not be created. From their blog, below is what's up:
March 12, 2015 - New project creation disabled.
August 24, 2015 - The site goes read-only. You can still checkout/view project source, issues, and wikis.
January 25, 2016 - The project hosting service is closed. You will be able to download a tarball of project source, issues, and wikis. These tarballs will be available throughout the rest of 2016.
If you have your project on google code, you can easily move it. Below is a screenshot.
You'll get an email after you are done.
