6 years ago a guy looked at me face to face, and boldly told me; "I don't like you!" I immediately fired a response, I asked him that day; "Thank you for the honest feedback, but those that you like, how has it made their life better? How does your liking people pay their bills or take a bank loan? My brother keep your like, I need God's like And that's what guarantees my future. Today I joined a CEO friend of mine in an interview Panel to recruit some new staff, it was a long session, as we returned from a coffee break to continue the hectic interview session, here was this same guy walked in with his grey jacket and CV coming for the interview. Our eyes kissed by fluke, we immediately recognised each other; "the world is indeed spherical", I soliloquized. He felt very uncomfortable through out the interview, one could clearly see the volcanic eruption ongoing in his whole nervous system, he even mistook his date of birth for his last date of empl...
The Presence of God is really all i would talk about because there's just something about it that i have experienced, am still experiencing and that which i yearn for deeper and deeper. My soul pants for this something that is part and parcel of God's presence.
My message today is that once you learn how to dwell in the presence of your maker you will function from a very high place. The presence of God is where all peace and rest is found. Unspeakable Joy has he made available for us. Healing and restoration takes place here-in the Presence. One thing i love about God is that no heart or life is too broken for Him to mend. No path is too crooked for Him straighten. I am not aware of the people am ministering to here but i know for sure that there are those who have matters they would like solved. Some feel broken beyond what anyone could comprehend.
God comes to you today with a message that says HE IS ABLE. His presence is fully open for you to come and lay down your burdens and worries. Scripture, in Matthew 11:38-39 that Come to me all ye who are weary and i shall give you rest. My yoke is easy and my burden is light.
More than anything God wants His Sons to function from a point of rest! Truth is you cannot serve God until you have rested. Rested from your efforts and worries. The healing power of God does a marvelous job in our hearts. Today God wants you to rest from heartaches, unforgiveness, guilt, shame, condemnation, doubt, worry, frustration, bitterness, anger, fury and every form of negativity-things that aren't from him.
Where will you find this rest? IN GOD'S PRESENCE!!! How do you get in it? By stopping to try getting into it because you are already in it. How do i know that? If you are born again you received Christ in your heart...that's where the presence flows out from-THE CHRIST IN YOU. So take the initiative to always converse with the Holy Spirit inside you and be calm to receive ministration from Him.
